Every member of our founding team has spent decades doing this work at the highest levels of the industry. None of us are learning on your capital.
Calvin Sidhu is the founder and Managing Partner of UrbanFox. He brings more than 25 years of experience across global real estate investing, having operated as both owner and sponsor across North America, Europe, and India — with over $1 billion in residential real estate financed directly under his principal stewardship.
Calvin began his career at 24 building one of the largest non-ferrous metals trading businesses in post-Soviet Russia — arranging letters of credit across European banks, financing shipments to Asia, and constructing financial architecture in one of the most complex and unstructured environments of the late 20th century.
That foundation has carried through every chapter of his career since. Calvin brings deep expertise across the full capital structure and has cultivated long-standing relationships with sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and institutional capital across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
At UrbanFox, Calvin leads all fundraising, investor relations, and deal execution.
Ryan Lodes is a co-founder and Managing Director of UrbanFox. Over a 25-year career spent entirely inside institutional multifamily real estate, he has raised over $3 billion in investor equity, served on investment committees, and helped build platforms substantial enough to attract the attention of the world's largest alternative asset managers. Griffin Capital, where Ryan served as Managing Director, was acquired by Apollo Global Management.
That career arc gave Ryan an unusually complete view of how institutional capital thinks about multifamily real estate — as a buyer, a capital raiser, an investment committee member, and a steward of assets through multiple market cycles.
At UrbanFox, Ryan leads capital markets, investor relations strategy, and institutional platform development.
Simon Turner serves as Director of Acquisitions at UrbanFox. His career is defined by a quality that is genuinely rare in real estate: the ability to operate with equal credibility on both sides of the Pacific. As Head of China for Savills, Simon built and led the firm's China practice during the period when Chinese institutional capital was emerging as one of the most consequential forces in global real estate.
That experience gave Simon a deep, instinctive understanding of how institutional investors across Asia think about real estate — how they evaluate risk, how they build trust, and what it takes to bring them to a transaction as genuine partners.
Simon's transaction experience spans multifamily, single-family residential, hospitality, and leisure across both US and UK markets. At UrbanFox, he leads acquisition sourcing and serves as a principal bridge to the Asia-Pacific and Middle East institutional networks.
